Mr. Azmy is an Executive Director and CEO. As the Chief Executive Officer of Al Shafar General Contracting LLC, he formulates corporate strategy and steers ASGC toward the achievement of its mission, vision, and philosophy. Mr. Azmy has been a Mensa member since 2000 and is a member of the Advisory Board of Engineers of the American University in Dubai and an associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. He is committed to corporate social responsibility and a recognized speaker at various business and academic conferences. Mr. Azmy is also a member of the Young Presidents Organization (“YPO”) and was named on the Arabian Business “ 30 under 30” list in 2010 and “CEO of the Year” by the International Quality & Productivity Center (“IQPC”) in 2014. Mr. Azmy graduated from the American University in Cairo with a degree (Highest Honors) in Construction Engineering in 2002. He also holds an Executive Masters in Business Administration from the London School of Business, United Kingdom and a Masters of Science in International Construction Management from the University of Bath, United Kingdom.
